I recently learned that my good cat friend from Orlando passed away a few days ago. He was a large cat like myself.
He was a good and loyal companion to his owners and I'm sure he will be missed. Large cats are large losses.

Summer weather has set in. Hot and humid here in Alabama. Reminds me of when I was a kitten in Ft. Lauderdale Florida - 10 years and 10 pounds ago.

Apparently, my human owners has passed on the gene that creates a desire to have pictures taken with make-believe animals to at least one of their sons. This is picture of the Daily Dave with a make-believe animal. When will they learn?
Well, what can I say? You let them out of the house for a day or two and this is what you get. Not sure who is eyeing who for dinner. I guess the giant tuna was off for the night!!! 
I have noticed a liberal trend in commentary to my site. As an enlightened cat, I welcome such commentary. I support same sex cat marriage, pro-choice on cat birth control and an end to the War in Iraq.
I also support tax breaks to my owners, a chicken in every pot, two cars in every garage and free dog food to all wire terriors.
Guess I'm sort of an independent sort of cat.
I have been descibed by many as being regal...ultra regal to be exact. Based on that fact and after the 9th life, I'd like to get a state funeral. I could be drawn along by 4 giant white tuna fish on a bed of lettuce....haven't worked out the details yet

I like to sleep and eat as much as possible. Once in a while I lower my standards to entertain the two humans who wait on me, but in general, life is good.
